We are a motley crew of creatives, designers, and digital architects that help our clients craft enduring and meaningful interactive experiences. Co-founded by David Navama and Jesse Kouffman in 2004, today Reason Media Group works with a wide variety of clients ranging from start-ups and NPOs to internationally known brands and Fortune 500 companies. In short, we strive to identify the reasons and motivators within a project or campaign that can capture an audience’s imagination and then provide them with a truly rewarding interactive experience.

In January of 2012, David Straus joined Reason Media Group to launch our product development, business incubation and leadership development arm through newly-formed sister company Reason Ventures LLC.
What We Do
We specialize in custom web and application development, social media, mobile and tablet development, user interface design, and interactive brand development. Our team loves working with the latest technologies that will provide innovative, cross-compatible designs, which can engage users on multiple interactive layers. We live and breath HTML5, JavaScript, LAMP stack development, Mobile and Tablet development, and pursue pixel-perfect design executions that can effortlessly match form to function.
About the Founders
Friends since the 2nd grade, David Navama and Jesse Kouffman’s creative partnership first ignited during their college years, where late night design + development sessions produced an early lineup of enthusiastic clients. Since then, Reason Media Group evolved into a diverse team of designers, developers, and digital dreamers that love producing projects that can provoke both user-interest and action.
David Navama currently serves as a Co-Founder and Chief Creative at Reason Media Group. Prior to RMG, David worked in music production and talent management, where he focused on building brands and developing promotional strategies for emerging artists. With a strong background in multimedia production and event marketing, David contributes a breadth of experiential and interactive marketing insights to all of RMG’s projects. In addition to his work within Reason Media Group, David has lead several non-profit and youth leadership seminars on the topic of experiential marketing and youth leadership in partnership with Los Angeles based foundations and the Center for Non-Profit Management.
Jesse Kouffman currently serves as a Co-Founder and CMO at Reason Media Group. Jesse’s field experience began at the University of California, Berkeley, where he served as a Graduate Instructor for the Marketing Department. He then returned to Los Angeles where he worked under the VP of Marketing for a leading national sales corporation. In 2004, Kouffman joined together with David Navama to form Reason Media Group. In addition to his work within Reason Media Group, Jesse enjoys developing teen leadership programming in collaboration with local non-profits to empower youth both on and offline.
